The First China University Scientific and Technological Achievements Fair was held in Huizhou，capital of Zhejiang Province from June 22 - 24, 2017. George Fitzgerald Smoot, winner of Nobel Prize for physics, and over 10 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering attended the meeting. Furthermore, more than 300 universities at home and abroad, and nearly 3000 enterprises, attended the meeting. About 10,000 scientific and technological achievements were exhibited, among which 1,500 projects were highlighted. The launch of 500 achievements in applied technology was emphasized to promote the integration of production and research.
Tongji University selected over 70 projects for this activity, covering almost all advantageous disciplines of Tongji University like architectural design, new material, environmental protection, electronic information, mechanical equipment, biological medicine, and so on.
During the meeting, the architectural space environment energy saving technology invented by Professor YANG Li of Tongji University’s Architecture and Urban Planning College was exhibited with unanimous praise. A great number of entrepreneurs, peers and schoolfellows went to Tongji University’s booth to learn about the project details. The cooperation between some enterprises and Tongji University was reached and deep communication will continue after the meeting.
