The 15th Shanghai “Challenge Cup” Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Works Contest, which took four months, ended on June 10th. Tongji University students won two special awards, four first prizes, four second prizes and two third prizes, ranking first overall in the contest. Last year, Tongji University won the first place in the Shanghai “Youth” Entrepreneurship Contest and the University won the championship again in the 15th Shanghai “Challenge Cup” Contest.
There were more than 1,200 entries in the 15th Shanghai “Challenge Cup” Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Works Contest and it lasted for four months with 124 imaginative pieces of work progressed to the next round of completion. Tongji University started to collect entries in April 2016, and 12 pieces of work from over 300 pieces of work were selected for the contest after five assessment rounds. The comprehensive level of Tongji University students’ scientific innovation was presented during the contest, and we are waiting for the good news from Tongji University students in the national contest after five months.
